Vijay Deverakonda Opens Up About Love, Relationships, and His Current Romance

Vijay Deverakonda, who is often rumored to be dating actress Rashmika Mandanna, recently shared his thoughts on love, relationships, and marriage.

The actor admitted that his love comes with expectations and that he doesn’t believe in unconditional love. He also revealed that he is currently in a relationship and has previously dated a co-star.

In an interview with Curly Tales, Vijay said, “I know what it feels like to be loved, and I know what it is to love. But I don’t know unconditional love because my love comes with expectations. So clearly, my love isn’t unconditional. I feel everything is over-romanticised. I don’t even know if it’s okay to expect unconditional love.”

When asked about marriage, Vijay expressed that he believes it can be more difficult for women.

“Marriage doesn’t have to interfere with someone’s career. But marriage is harder on women. It also depends on the profession you are in,” he explained.

Vijay also shared that he doesn’t go out on traditional dates. Instead, he prefers to first build a strong friendship before moving forward in a relationship. “I don’t go out on dates. I only go out after spending a long time getting to know someone and building a friendship,” he explained.

He confirmed that he has dated a co-star and is currently in a relationship. Jokingly, he added, “I’m 35 years old. Do you think I’ll be single?”

Vijay and Rashmika, who starred together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, continue to fuel dating rumors with their close bond.

They often support each other on social media, adding to the speculation. Recently, Rashmika praised Vijay’s look from his upcoming film VD 12, while Vijay gave a shoutout to Rashmika following the release of the Pushpa 2 trailer.
